Engagement

From first email to the HR conversation

A clear path for salary negotiation and contract preparation — so you know what happens before you share sensitive offer documents.

Designed for tight reply windows

German employers often expect a response within days. The engagement sequence below compresses document review and rehearsal without skipping the clauses that matter.

  1. Intake

You describe the role, location, and deadline. We confirm whether negotiation coaching, contract preparation, or offer analysis is the right fit.

  2. Document handoff

You send the offer, draft Arbeitsvertrag, or current package details. We acknowledge receipt and flag anything missing (Anlagen, bonus letters, equity side notes).

  3. Analysis and brief

You receive written notes: range and priorities for negotiation, or annotated questions for contract clarification.

  4. Live session

We walk through findings and, for negotiation work, rehearse the conversation with interruptible practice — not a monologue.

  5. After the employer replies

A short debrief adjusts the next ask or confirms when it is time to accept, pause, or seek legal counsel on a specific clause.

What you should prepare

  • PDFs of the offer or contract (full file, not screenshots of a single page).
  • Your current notice period and any competing offer dates.
  • Non-negotiables: location, remote days, start date, or minimum base pay.
