Data we collect
- Contact details you submit (name, email, message content, consultation interest, stated deadlines).
- Documents you voluntarily send for review (offer letters, contracts, payslips).
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited when analytics cookies are accepted.
Purposes and legal bases
We process inquiry data to respond to your request and, where you engage us, to perform the consultation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Site security and essential cookies rely on legitimate interests or necessity for providing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) or (b)). Analytics run only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Retention
Inquiry emails without an engagement are typically kept up to 12 months. Engagement files are retained for the duration of the work and thereafter as required for accounting and legal obligations in Germany, then deleted or anonymised.
Processors and transfers
Hosting and email providers may process data on our behalf under contracts. If a provider stores data outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable, and you may withdraw consent for analytics at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.
